Thursday, 8:00a – 4:30p

Friday, 8:00a – 3:00p

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Position Overview

Mercy Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Front Office operational activities required to ensure a safe and efficient patient care environment; facilitate our new patient enrollment process; orchestrate our in-house Specialty Referral process in collaboration with the medical staff; supervise front office staff; and, encourage and improve an environment that supports Mercy’s mission and core values.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience

Skills: 

·         Strong interpersonal relational skills and practices

·         Effective communication practices

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Organization and time management skills, attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently with little supervision

·         Comfortable navigating a computer and ability to learn new programs

·         Experience with eClinical Works or other electronic medical record database

·         Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus
