Tickets for the upcoming Nationwide Tour’s Stadion Athens Classic golf tournament, to be played at the UGA golf course, are now available for purchase. Congratulations to our 2009 Lay Volunteer of the Year: Trudy McEver Trudy, the Lay Volunteer of the Year, has been volunteering at Mercy for over six years serving in various capacities. She currently does all of our new patient screening and paperwork, and facilitates our new patient orientation.
Lay Health Education Program Students Graduate

The Lay Health Education students celebrated class graduation on Thursday, November 6th, at St. Mary’s Hospital. This education program was established in order to teach patients about basic healthcare and how to teach those in their community about good health practices, and was funded by Athens Community Foundation. He has been volunteering at Mercy for over six years. Stan is a true advocate for Mercy. He volunteers at Mercy performing oral surgery services for our patients.
